Searching for Bowling Green House: Trial Trench In the Grounds of Myddleton House, 2003
Photographs of a trial trench that was excavated in the Summer of 2003 in the grounds of Myddleton House in the hope of revealing the foundations of the earlier Bowling Green House, which may have dated back to the Tudor period.
The layer of fairly loose brick rubble evident, did not ultimately turn out to be the foundations of Bowling Green House.
